To start  Holvaxing Installations panels you will need to start in the furthest corner of the room, a good tip is to make sure that the groove of the panel faces the wall at all times. Then you start adding the next panel down the room to create a row. If the last panel needs cutting to fit then using a pencil or carpenters crayon mark where to cut, and use a saw to cut accurately.

When you have your first row, you it is best to make pilot holes, where you intend to nail the floor down, this is important as it makes it easier to nail the hardwood down, then you can nail into these boards, either with a nail gun, or a rubber mallet, so it does not cause any marks upon the flooring.

To start the second row, it is ideal to use the other part of the cut end from the row before. This creates a great look to the floor; it avoids wasting lost of panels and also helps to strengthen the whole floor. Continue as you did for the first row, and complete the rows like this till you get to the last row. Remember to make sure that the panels are snug together; you may wish to use a knocking block and rubber mallet for this or a claw hammer.

You will find that when you come to the last row, it is the most difficult. Give yourself some time to do this, you will also need to have accurate cutting and measuring for this last row too; ensure you leave a gap against the wall to allow the wood some movement, as the temperatures etc will cause the wood to expand and contract.

The last step is to clean and clear the area, apply a wood finisher if needed and put all your furnishings back and enjoy your room.
